ครบรอบ 38 ปี "ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย" : สืบสานอดีต สร้างสรรค์ปัจจุบัน สู่อนาคตวัฒนธรรมไทยอย่างยั่งยืน

วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2568 เวลา 10.00 น. คณะผู้บริหาร แขกผู้มีเกียรติจากหน่วยงาน/องค์กรต่างๆ และสื่อมวลชน เข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนางยุถิกา อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม พร้อมด้วยนางสาววราพรรณ ชัยชนะศิริ รองอธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม และคณะผู้บริหารกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม ในงานครบรอบวันเปิดศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ปีที่ 38 ณ หอประชุมเล็ก ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม เขตห้วยขวาง กรุงเทพมหานคร

 

ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (Thailand Cultural Centre) เป็นแหล่งกลางการให้การศึกษาแก่สังคม โดยเน้นงานด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ผ่านศิลปะการแสดง กิจกรรมทางด้านการศึกษาที่จัดขึ้นในรูปแบบต่างๆ ซึ่งมาจากความคิดริเริ่มของเด็กและเยาวชน ตลอดจนการจัดนิทรรศการหมุนเวียนและถาวรกับห้องสมุดเฉพาะด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย จัดตั้งขึ้นตามมติคณะรัฐมนตรี (ครม.) เมื่อวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม 2526 เพื่อให้ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นศูนย์กลาง (Central Venue) ของการจัดกิจกรรมทางศิลปวัฒนธรรมด้านต่างๆ 

ซึ่งเมื่อวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2530 พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร รัชกาลที่ 9 เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทรงเปิดอาคารศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ ดังนั้น กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมจึงได้ยึดถือวันที่ 9 ตุลาคมของทุกปี เป็นวันครบรอบเปิดศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2530 เป็นต้นมา

ปัจจุบัน ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย เป็นหน่วยงานในสังกัดสถาบันวัฒนธรรมศึกษา กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งมีบทบาทหน้าที่สำคัญ (Vital Role) ทางด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ถือเป็นศูนย์กลางในการให้บริการทางการศึกษา ส่งเสริมและเผยแพร่ศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยสาขาต่างๆ แก่เยาวชนและประชาชนชาวไทย เพื่อให้คนไทยตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของวัฒนธรรมไทย เกิดความรักหวงแหนมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชาติ และช่วยกันรักษาไว้เป็นศักดิ์ศรี และเกียรติภูมิของชาติสืบไป นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสถานที่สำหรับแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรม (Cultural Exchange) เพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีซึ่งกันและกันในบรรดาประเทศต่างๆ ทั่วโลก

สำหรับกิจกรรมเนื่องในงานครบรอบวันเปิดศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ปีที่ 38 นี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมงานทุกท่านได้ร่วมสักการะสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ประจำกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ (1) พระพุทธชินราช ศาลาไทย (2) พระพิฆเนศ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (3) ศาลพระภูมิ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (4) ห้องศีรษะครู (พ่อแก่) หอประชุมใหญ่ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (5) ศาลตายาย กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม อีกทั้งได้ร่วมกันทำบุญอุทิศส่วนกุศลให้บุพการีชนทั้งผู้บริหาร ข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทยที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล (Auspiciousness) พร้อมทั้งสร้างความรัก ความอบอุ่น ความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างผู้บริหารของกรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม บุคลากรในสังกัด และเครือข่ายทางวัฒนธรรมจากองค์กร/หน่วยงานทุกภาคส่วน

 

Celebrating the 38th Anniversary of the Thailand Cultural Centre: Preserving the Past, Enriching the Present, and Sustaining the Future of Thai Culture 💚💜🎉

📰 On Thursday, 9 October 2025 (10:00 a.m.) Executives, distinguished guests, and members of the media from various sectors joined in extending their congratulations to Mrs. Yuthika Isarangkura, Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion, together with Ms. Waraphan Chaichanasiri, Deputy Director-General of Department of Cultural Promotion and the executives of the DCP , on the occasion of the 38th Anniversary of the Thailand Cultural Centre at Small Hall, Thailand Cultural Centre, Department of Cultural Promotion, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok.

✴️ Thailand Cultural Centre (TCC) serves as a central hub for providing education to society, focusing on arts and culture through performing arts and various educational activities initiated by children and youth. It also hosts both temporary and permanent exhibitions, along with a specialized library dedicated to arts and culture. Thailand Cultural Centre was established in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet on 19 July B.E. 2526, with the aim of making it a central venue for diverse cultural and artistic activities. Subsequently, on 9 October B.E. 2530, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) graciously presided over the official opening ceremony of Thailand Cultural Centre. Since then, Department of Cultural Promotion has designated 9 October of every year as the anniversary of the opening of Thailand Cultural Centre, a tradition observed since B.E. 2530.

✨ At present, Thailand Cultural Centre operates under the Institute of Cultural Studies, Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture. It plays a vital role in the field of arts and culture as a central institution providing educational services, as well as promoting and disseminating various branches of Thai arts and culture to Thai youth and the general public. Its mission is to foster appreciation and awareness of the value of Thai cultural heritage, nurturing love, respect, and pride in the nation’s traditions while encouraging collective efforts to preserve them as a source of national dignity and pride. Furthermore, Thailand Cultural Centre serves as a venue for cultural exchange, strengthening mutual understanding and goodwill among nations around the world.

🕯️ As part of the activities today, all participants paid homage to the sacred entities of the Department of Cultural Promotion, including (1) Phra Phuttha Chinarath at Thai Pavilion, (2) Phra Phikanet (Ganesha) Shrine at the Thailand Cultural Centre, (3) the Spirit House of the Thailand Cultural Centre, (4) the Teacher’s Shrine (Pho Kae) in the Main Hall, Thailand Cultural Centre, and (5) the Grandparents Shrine at the Department of Cultural Promotion. Moreover, attendees took part in a merit-making ceremony to dedicate merit to the deceased former executives, officials, and staff members of the Thailand Cultural Centre. The event was held to foster auspiciousness, as well as to strengthen the bonds of love, warmth, and goodwill among the Department’s executives, personnel, and cultural network partners from all sectors.
